Fruit and Quaker Oatmeal Smoothie
- Combine rolled oats and fat-free, lactose-free milk in saucepan.
- Simmer for 5 minutes or until oats have absorbed a majority of the milk. (Oatmeal will yield 1 cup.)
- Let cool.
- In blender, combine 1 cup cooked oatmeal, half of a ripe banana, 1/4 cup frozen (or fresh) strawberries, 3/4 cup Kefir, and ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately with fresh strawberry garnish (optional).
