Directions:

For Rolls:

  1. Combine whole milk, butter, sugar and yeast in small bowl. Combine flour and salt in large bowl.
  2. Create well in center of dry ingredients and add wet ingredients and egg. Mix well until a dough forms. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Punch down dough and portion into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place into greased baking dish about 1/2-inch apart. Cover rolls with plastic wrap and let rise for an additional 30 minutes or until puffed.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Brush tops of rolls with heavy cream and bake until golden-brown, about 18-22 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with additional butter.

For Butter:

  1. Combine butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary and salt in medium bowl and mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Transfer to sheet of wax paper and roll butter into a log. Refrigerate until ready to use.
